• Access compressor: Remove the lower rear cover to expose the compressor, start relay/PTC, and overload protector.
• Inspect start device: Remove the start relay/PTC from the compressor pins. Check for burn marks or rattling when shaken.
• Replace start device: If suspect, install a new Etna compressor start relay/PTC and overload protector matched to your compressor model.
• Check wiring: Ensure all connectors to the compressor and main control PCB are secure.
• Test operation: Restore power and monitor if the compressor starts and cooling resumes. If not, the main control PCB or compressor itself may be faulty and require professional diagnosis.
