Error code E7 is displayed and the refrigerator interior lights and fans may work, but the compressor does not run.

Safety first: Disconnect the appliance from mains power before accessing the control board. Avoid touching PCB tracks with bare hands.

Procedure:

• 1. Power reset: Unplug the refrigerator for 10–15 minutes to discharge capacitors, then reconnect. If E7 reappears immediately, continue.
• 2. Access main PCB: Remove the rear cover panel (usually at the lower back) to expose the main control board housing. Remove the housing cover.
• 3. Visual inspection: Look for burnt components, bulging capacitors, or darkened areas on the PCB. Check for moisture or insect damage.
• 4. Reseat connectors: One by one, unplug and firmly reconnect all harness connectors to the board, ensuring correct orientation. Pay attention to the compressor, fan, and sensor connectors.
• 5. Check supply voltage: If you are trained and have a multimeter, verify that mains voltage is present at the board input and that the low-voltage outputs (e.g., 5 V, 12 V) are within range. Perform this only if you are competent with live testing.
• 6. Replace control board: If E7 persists and there are clear signs of board failure or no low-voltage output, replace the main control board with the exact Fagor part number. Transfer any configuration jumpers as per the service manual.
• 7. Test operation: After replacement, restore power and verify that the error clears and the compressor and fans operate normally.
