Refrigerator interior light works but the display and controls are unresponsive; cooling may or may not be active.

Safety first: Unplug the refrigerator before removing the control panel.

Steps:

• 1. Power reset: Disconnect power for 10 minutes, then reconnect. If the UI remains dead, continue.
• 2. Remove control panel: Carefully unclip or unscrew the front control panel. Inspect the PCB and ribbon cable.
• 3. Reseat connectors: Disconnect and reconnect the ribbon cable between the UI and main board. Check for corrosion or damage.
• 4. Replace UI PCB: If there is visible damage or no response after reseating, replace the user interface PCB with the correct Fagor part.
• 5. Test: Reassemble, restore power, and verify that buttons and display function correctly.
