Possible Causes
Failed LED light module, Faulty door switch not signaling open state, Damaged low-voltage wiring to light module, Defective lighting driver on main control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the refrigerator before removing light covers or working on wiring. LED modules operate at low voltage but are powered by mains-derived circuits.
Step 1 – Check door switch operation:
- Verify that the door switch actuates smoothly when the door opens and closes.
- If the switch is stuck or broken, replace it first.
Step 2 – Inspect LED module:
- Remove the light cover in the affected compartment.
- Check for signs of moisture ingress or burn marks on the LED board.
Step 3 – Replace LED module:
- Disconnect the old module and install a Fhiaba-compatible LED assembly.
- Ensure connectors are fully seated and wiring is not pinched.
Step 4 – Control board check:
- If new LEDs and switches do not restore lighting and E11 persists, the lighting driver circuit on the main control board may be defective.
- Board replacement should be carried out by a technician.
