Safety first: Unplug the refrigerator before adjusting components at the rear.
Step 1 – Level the appliance:
- Use a spirit level to check side-to-side and front-to-back level.
- Adjust the front leveling legs until the unit is stable and does not rock.
Step 2 – Check internal components:
- Ensure shelves, drawers, and bottle racks are properly seated and not rattling.
- Remove any loose items on top of the refrigerator or touching its sides.
Step 3 – Inspect rear area:
- Look for copper lines or wiring harnesses touching the cabinet; gently reposition and secure with clips or foam.
- Verify compressor mounting bolts are snug but not overtightened.
