Display shows AL or an alarm icon; audible alarm sounds and temperature may be too high.

Immediate checks:

• Confirm that all doors are fully closed and that no items are obstructing closure.
• Check for any recent power cuts; after power is restored, the alarm may sound until temperature recovers.
• Ensure air vents at the rear and sides inside the fridge and freezer are not blocked by food packages.

Reset alarm:

• Most Finlux models allow you to silence the alarm by pressing the alarm or set button.
• The AL indication will usually clear automatically once the temperature returns to normal.

If temperature does not recover: Investigate cooling performance (compressor running, fan operation, frost buildup). Persistent AL may indicate a cooling system or defrost fault that requires further diagnosis or professional service.
