Possible Causes
Door left open, Power outage causing temperature rise, Blocked air vents inside compartments, Evaporator heavily iced due to defrost failure
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Immediate checks:
- Confirm that all doors are fully closed and that no items are obstructing closure.
- Check for any recent power cuts; after power is restored, the alarm may sound until temperature recovers.
- Ensure air vents at the rear and sides inside the fridge and freezer are not blocked by food packages.
Reset alarm:
- Most Finlux models allow you to silence the alarm by pressing the alarm or set button.
- The AL indication will usually clear automatically once the temperature returns to normal.
If temperature does not recover: Investigate cooling performance (compressor running, fan operation, frost buildup). Persistent AL may indicate a cooling system or defrost fault that requires further diagnosis or professional service.
