Possible Causes
Door left open for extended period, Recent large warm food load, Failed temperature sensor reading out of range, Poor door seal causing warm air ingress
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Immediate actions:
- Check that all doors are fully closed and that no containers or shelves are preventing proper closure.
- Ensure the appliance is not overloaded with warm food; large loads should be cooled in smaller batches.
Inspect door seals:
- Run your hand around the door gasket while the door is closed to feel for cold air leaks.
- Clean the gasket with warm soapy water and dry thoroughly.
- Straighten any twisted sections by warming gently with a hairdryer (on low) and reshaping.
Allow recovery:
- After correcting any door or load issues, allow 12–24 hours for temperatures to stabilize.
- The H1 alarm should clear automatically once normal temperature is restored.
If H1 persists: The temperature sensor may be faulty. Refer to the E1/E2 sensor replacement procedures or contact a technician for diagnosis.
