Safety first: Turn off the water supply and unplug the fridge before working on the ice maker or water lines.
Check water supply:
- Ensure the external water tap feeding the fridge is open.
- Inspect the water hose for kinks or damage.
Inspect inlet tube:
- Check the plastic tube entering the ice maker for ice blockage.
- If frozen, defrost by turning off the fridge and gently warming the tube with a cloth soaked in warm water.
Test inlet valve:
- Locate the water inlet valve at the rear bottom of the fridge.
- Check for leaks or damage.
- If the valve does not open when the ice maker calls for water (requires live testing by a professional), replace it with a Finlux-compatible valve.
