Refrigerator door does not close properly or pops open by itself.

Safety first: Be careful when adjusting doors; they are heavy and can pinch fingers.

Check for obstructions:

• Ensure no food containers or shelves are protruding and hitting the door.
• Rearrange items to allow the door to close freely.

Inspect gasket:

• Examine the door gasket for tears, warping, or hardened sections.
• Clean the gasket and mating surface with warm soapy water and dry.
• Use a hairdryer on low to gently warm and reshape any twisted sections.

Adjust hinges and leveling:

• Use a spirit level to ensure the fridge leans slightly backwards.
• Adjust front feet to achieve a slight backward tilt so doors self-close.
• If the door sags, adjust the upper and lower hinge screws or replace worn Finlux hinge brackets.

Replace gasket if needed: If the gasket is damaged beyond repair, fit a new Finlux door gasket of the correct size and profile.
