How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the refrigerator and mop up any standing water to prevent slipping.

Inspect rear area:

  • Pull the fridge away from the wall.
  • Locate the evaporator tray above the compressor. Check for cracks or overflow.
  • Ensure the defrost drain tube is correctly inserted into the tray.

Check door seals and condensation:

  • Inspect door gaskets for gaps that could cause excessive condensation.
  • Clean and reshape or replace gaskets as needed.

If ice maker or water line present:

  • Inspect the water inlet hose, valve, and connections for drips.
  • Tighten or replace any leaking fittings. Replace damaged hoses with Finlux-compatible water lines.

Replace damaged tray: If the evaporator tray is cracked, replace it with the correct Finlux drip tray and ensure it is seated level.
