Display shows CL; controls may be locked and unresponsive to button presses.

Note: CL is typically a control lock indicator, not a hardware fault.

Steps to clear CL:

• 1. Unlock controls: Press and hold the Control Lock or Lock button for 3–5 seconds until CL disappears. On some models, press and hold the Freezer Temp Up and Freezer Temp Down buttons together.
• 2. Test buttons: After unlocking, press several buttons to confirm they respond.
• 3. Check for stuck keys: If CL returns immediately or some buttons do not respond, the keypad may be stuck or the UI board may be failing. Remove the dispenser/control panel and inspect for moisture or corrosion.
• 4. Replace UI board if necessary: If cleaning and drying do not restore function, replace the user interface board.
