Note: FL is typically a reminder, not a failure.

Steps to address FL:

• 1. Replace the water filter: Locate the filter (usually in the upper right fresh food compartment or grille). Turn counterclockwise or press release tab to remove. Install a new Frigidaire‑approved water filter.
• 2. Flush the filter: Dispense and discard 2–3 gallons of water to remove air and carbon fines.
• 3. Reset the filter indicator: Press and hold the Filter Reset or Water Filter button for 3–5 seconds until the light resets.
