How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power before removing the control panel.
Steps:
- 1. Clean surface: Wipe the control panel with a soft, slightly damp cloth to remove grease or residue that may affect touch sensitivity. Dry thoroughly.
- 2. Power reset: Unplug for 5–10 minutes, then restore power and test controls.
- 3. Access UI module: Remove trim and screws securing the control panel. Carefully pull it forward to access the ribbon cable.
- 4. Reseat cable: Disconnect and reconnect the ribbon cable between the UI and main board. Inspect for corrosion or damage.
- 5. Replace UI module: If buttons still do not respond, replace the user interface module with the correct Gaggenau part.
