Possible Causes
Child lock or dispenser lock enabled, Frozen water line in door, Clogged water filter, Faulty dispenser switch or actuator
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power and close water supply if removing panels or lines.
Steps:
- 1. Check controls: Ensure the dispenser is not locked via the control panel.
- 2. Replace filter: Install a new Gaggenau/Bosch water filter and flush according to instructions.
- 3. Check for frozen line: If the refrigerator compartment is very cold, the water line in the door may freeze. Raise the fridge temperature slightly and leave the door closed for several hours to thaw.
- 4. Test dispenser switch: Press the dispenser lever and listen for the inlet valve click. If silent, the switch or control may be faulty and should be tested and replaced if necessary.
