Safety first: Turn off the ice maker and unplug the refrigerator before removing the ice maker assembly.

• Verify ice maker is on: Ensure the ice maker switch is in the ON position and any arm or sensor is not blocked.
• Check ice bin: Make sure the bin is properly seated and not overfilled, which can stop production.
• Inspect fill tube: Look for ice blocking the plastic fill tube. Thaw gently with a hair dryer on low.
• Test water valve: The dual water inlet valve has separate solenoids for dispenser and ice. If the dispenser works but ice does not fill, the ice solenoid may have failed and the valve assembly should be replaced.
• Ice maker test cycle: Use the test button or manually initiate a harvest cycle (per model instructions). If the ice maker does not move or complete a cycle, replace the ice maker assembly.
