• Verify water supply: Confirm the saddle valve or shutoff valve to the refrigerator is fully open.
• Replace water filter: If the filter is older than 6 months or water flow is reduced, replace the GE Café-compatible filter.
• Test fill: Observe if the ice maker fills with water during a cycle. If not, the water inlet valve or a frozen fill tube may be the issue.
• Check fill tube: Inspect the fill tube for ice blockage. If frozen, thaw with warm air and check for slow seepage from the valve.
• Replace components: If the valve is not energizing or the ice maker does not cycle, replace the water inlet valve or ice maker assembly as indicated by testing.
