User Interface or Control Lock Issue

How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the refrigerator before removing the control panel.
Step 1 – Check for control lock:
- Look for a lock icon on the display.
- Press and hold the designated lock/unlock button combination (see user manual) for 3–5 seconds to toggle.
Step 2 – Power reset:
- Unplug the unit for 5 minutes and restore power.
Step 3 – Inspect UI connections:
- Remove the control panel bezel.
- Reseat the ribbon cable or harness to the UI board.
Step 4 – Replace UI board if needed:
- If buttons remain unresponsive, replace the user interface board.
