Display shows REPLACE FILTER or filter icon stays on; water flow may be reduced.

Safety first: Turn off water supply if the filter housing is prone to leaking during replacement.

• Replace filter: Install the correct GE Profile filter (e.g., MWF, XWF, RPWFE) following the orientation arrows. Push firmly until it seats and locks.
• Flush system: Run 2–3 gallons of water through the dispenser to clear air and carbon fines.
• Reset indicator: Press and hold the Water Filter Reset or Reset button for 3–5 seconds until the light turns green or goes off.
• Check leaks: Inspect around the filter head for drips. If leaking, re-seat the filter or replace the filter head assembly.
