How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the refrigerator before cleaning coils or accessing fans.
- Check door closure: Make sure the freezer door or drawer closes fully and rails are not obstructed by packages.
- Allow recovery time: After adding large amounts of unfrozen food, it can take 24 hours to reach set temperature.
- Clean condenser: Vacuum and brush the condenser coils to improve cooling efficiency.
- Verify evaporator fan: Listen for the freezer fan when the compressor is running. If not running, test and replace the freezer evaporator fan motor.
- Reset alarm: Use the Alarm/Reset button to clear the alarm once the temperature begins to drop.
