Display shows E10; ice maker (if equipped) does not produce ice and may stop mid-cycle.

Steps:

• Check water supply first: Ensure the water supply valve is open and the inlet hose is not kinked. However, E10 typically relates to the mechanical part of the ice maker, not water flow.
• Inspect the ice maker: Remove the ice bin and visually inspect the ice maker for jammed cubes or broken plastic parts. Clear any obstructions.
• Reset the ice maker: Some Gorenje ice makers have a reset button or can be reset via the control panel. Perform a reset and observe if the unit cycles.
• Check wiring: Verify the ice maker harness is fully seated in its connector and not damaged.
• Test motor and sensor (if accessible): With the unit unplugged, measure resistance of the ice maker motor and position sensor according to the service manual. Replace if open or out of spec.
• Replace the ice maker assembly: If the mechanism is cracked or the motor/sensor is faulty, replace the complete Gorenje ice maker assembly. Disconnect the harness, remove mounting screws, swap the unit, and reconnect.
• Test operation: Restore power, enable ice making, and allow several hours for the first batch of ice. E10 should clear if the fault is resolved.
