Grundig False Temperature Alarm

Alarm beeping and temperature warning light on, but temperatures seem normal.

Possible Causes

Sensor reading glitch, Door left open previously causing stored alarm, Control board not reset after power outage

Safety: No internal work required for basic checks.

Check doors: Ensure all doors are fully closed and gaskets seal properly.
Reset alarm: Press the alarm reset button on the control panel to silence the alarm.
Power cycle: Unplug the refrigerator for 5 minutes, then reconnect to clear stored alarms.
Monitor temperatures: Use a thermometer in both compartments for 24 hours. If temperatures remain normal, the event may have been transient.
