Display shows E11 and the water dispenser does not work or flow is very weak on plumbed-in models.

Safety: Turn off the water supply and unplug the refrigerator before disconnecting any water lines.

• Check water supply: Ensure the household shut-off valve is fully open and that water pressure is adequate. Test by disconnecting the supply line at the fridge and briefly opening the valve into a bucket.
• Inspect external filter: If your Grundig refrigerator uses an external or internal water filter, replace it if it is older than recommended or suspected to be clogged.
• Check for kinks or freezing: Follow the water line from the inlet valve to the dispenser and ice maker. Straighten any kinks. In cold environments, lines inside the fridge can freeze; defrost the unit if necessary.
• Access inlet valve: Remove the rear lower panel to locate the dual water inlet valve assembly. Inspect for cracks, leaks, or burned electrical connectors.
• Test valve coils: With the fridge unplugged, disconnect the valve connectors and measure coil resistance. An open coil indicates a failed valve that must be replaced.
• Replace inlet valve: Install a Grundig-compatible dual water inlet valve, transfer water lines one at a time to avoid mix-ups, and ensure all connections are watertight.
• Restore water and power: Turn on the water supply, check for leaks, then plug in the fridge and test the dispenser. Confirm that the E11 code clears.
