How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect mains power before removing any control panels.
- Check button operation: Press the Super Cool/Super Freeze buttons and observe if the indicator lights respond. If buttons feel stuck or unresponsive, the panel may be faulty.
- Power cycle: Unplug the refrigerator for 10 minutes to reset the control software. Reconnect and try activating the modes again.
- Inspect control panel connections: Remove the control panel trim and verify that the ribbon cable or harness is securely connected.
- Test with other functions: If other buttons also misbehave, the entire UI panel may need replacement.
- Replace UI or main PCB: If the panel is clearly defective, replace it with a Grundig-compatible part. If the panel is good but modes still fail, the main PCB may have a logic or relay fault and should be replaced by a technician.
