How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the refrigerator before working inside. Use towels to absorb water.
Steps:
- 1. Remove crisper drawers: Pull out the drawers and shelf above to expose the rear wall and drain trough.
- 2. Locate drain hole: Find the small drain opening at the back center of the trough.
- 3. Clear blockage: Use a plastic straw or flexible brush to gently clear debris. Then flush with warm water using a turkey baster until water flows freely.
- 4. Check rear drain tube: From the back of the unit, ensure the drain tube and grommet are not kinked or blocked. Clean as needed.
- 5. Reassemble: Dry the area and reinstall drawers.
