Possible Causes

Short between multiple NTC sensor lines, Damaged sensor harness connector block, Water ingress into wiring junction, Faulty main PCB sensor multiplexer

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety warning: Disconnect mains power before handling wiring harnesses or control boards.

Steps:

  • 1. Inspect sensor junctions: Many IceKing models route multiple sensors to a common connector block near the main PCB. Inspect this block for corrosion, moisture, or loose pins.
  • 2. Dry and clean: If moisture is present, dry the area thoroughly and clean contacts with electrical contact cleaner. Ensure no water leaks are present from the cabinet.
  • 3. Check harness integrity: Look for crushed or abraded sections of the harness, especially where it passes through cabinet walls. Repair or replace damaged sections.
  • 4. Individual sensor tests: Disconnect sensors one at a time and test their resistance. A single shorted sensor can pull down the bus and cause E19.
  • 5. PCB replacement: If all sensors and wiring are good, the main PCB sensor interface may be defective and should be replaced.

Note: Label each connector before removal to avoid misconnection during reassembly.
