• 1. Level the unit: Use a spirit level to ensure the fridge is level front-to-back and side-to-side. Adjust leveling feet as needed.
• 2. Access rear: Remove the rear lower cover and inspect the condenser fan. Remove any debris and ensure wires are not touching the fan blades.
• 3. Fan test: Spin the fan by hand. If it feels rough or wobbly, replace the condenser fan motor.
• 4. Compressor mounts: Check that the rubber grommets under the compressor are intact and that mounting bolts are snug (not overtightened).
• 5. Reinstall cover: The rear cover also helps reduce noise; always reinstall it after service.

Tip: Some compressor hum is normal, but sudden increases in noise usually indicate a developing fault.
