How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn off the water supply before disconnecting any lines.

Improve water flow:

  • Replace the Insignia water filter if older than 6 months or if flow is slow.
  • Ensure the household shutoff valve is fully open.
  • Inspect the supply line for kinks and straighten or replace as needed.
  • Clean the inlet screen on the water valve by disconnecting the supply line and flushing debris.

Note: After improving flow, allow several ice cycles to see improvement in cube size.
