How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the refrigerator before accessing the control board.

Check for demo mode:

Consult the Insignia user manual for instructions to exit demo or showroom mode (often a combination of buttons held for several seconds).

Power reset: Unplug the unit for 5–10 minutes, then plug back in and see if cooling starts.
Inspect control board: Access the main control board at the rear and check for burnt or damaged relay components.
Check wiring: Ensure harnesses from the board to the compressor or inverter are secure.
Replace main control board: If the compressor never receives power and demo mode is off, replace the Insignia main control board.
