• Clean condenser coils: Pull the unit away from the wall. Use a coil brush and vacuum to clean dust from the condenser coils under or behind the refrigerator.
• Check condenser fan: With power restored, verify the condenser fan motor runs whenever the compressor is on. Replace if not running or noisy.
• Inspect door gaskets: Look for gaps, tears, or warped sections on the freezer door gasket. Close a sheet of paper in the door; it should have resistance when pulled. Replace the freezer door gasket if it does not seal.
• Sealed system issues: If coils are clean, fans run, and gaskets seal but cooling is still poor, there may be a refrigerant leak or weak compressor. This requires a certified technician.
