Possible Causes
Partially clogged water filter, Partially blocked inlet valve screen, Low household water pressure, Kinked water supply line
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Shut off the water supply before disconnecting any water lines. Have towels ready.
- Replace water filter: Install a new OEM water filter cartridge and flush 2–4 gallons of water.
- Check water pressure: Ensure the household supply valve is fully open. For best performance, water pressure should be 30–120 psi.
- Inspect supply line: Look for kinks or sharp bends in the water line behind the refrigerator. Straighten or replace as needed.
- Clean or replace inlet valve: If pressure is good but flow is weak, the water inlet valve screen may be clogged. Replace the valve; do not attempt to drill or modify the screen.
