How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Shut off water supply and unplug before removing ice maker or water lines.
- Check water supply: Ensure the saddle valve or shutoff valve is fully open and water pressure is at least 20–30 psi.
- Replace filter: If the filter is older than 6 months or water flow is weak, replace the LG water filter.
- Inspect fill tube: Check the plastic tube above the ice maker for ice blockage. Thaw with warm water if frozen.
- Reset/test ice maker: Press and hold the ice maker test button for 3 seconds. If it does not cycle, replace the ice maker assembly.
