Possible Causes
Failed BioFresh NTC sensor, Connector corrosion due to condensation, Pinched sensor cable under drawer rails, Faulty connection at main PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect mains power before removing drawers or panels.
Step-by-step:
- Remove drawers: Pull out the BioFresh or special compartment drawers completely to access the rear or side wall.
- Locate sensor: The sensor is often behind a small cover or integrated into the rear wall near the air outlet.
- Check cable routing: Ensure the cable is not trapped or damaged by drawer slides or stored items.
- Connector check: Follow the cable to its connector (often behind an interior panel or at the top of the compartment). Unplug and re-plug to clean contacts.
- Test and replace: Measure resistance of the sensor; if out of range, replace with the correct Liebherr BioFresh NTC sensor. Install in the same position and orientation.
- Reassemble: Refit covers and drawers, restore power, and verify that F3 clears and compartment temperature stabilizes.
