• Check ice maker power switch: Ensure the ice maker is turned ON and the shutoff arm is in the down position.
• Inspect fill tube: Look at the plastic tube that delivers water to the ice maker. If it is frozen, thaw it gently with a hair dryer on low.
• Check water supply: Verify the household shutoff valve is open and the supply line is not kinked.
• Test water inlet valve: Activate the ice maker test cycle (if available). If no water enters the mold, the Magic Chef water inlet valve may be faulty and should be replaced.
• Replace ice maker: If the valve works but the ice maker does not cycle or eject ice, replace the ice maker assembly.
