Steps:

• Check lock feature: Ensure the dispenser lock (if equipped) is not engaged.
• Inspect for frozen line: If the refrigerator is set very cold, the water line in the door can freeze. Raise the refrigerator temperature slightly and leave the door open for short periods to warm the line, or gently warm the dispenser area.
• Test dispenser switch: Press the dispenser lever and listen for a click or valve activation. If silent, the switch or control board may be faulty.
• Access dispenser: Remove the dispenser trim and control panel to inspect the switch and wiring. Replace the dispenser switch or actuator if broken.
