Display shows dE; doors may not register as closed, interior lights may stay on, or cooling may stop.

Safety: Unplug the refrigerator before removing door switch components.

• Check door closure: Ensure nothing is blocking the doors from closing fully (bins, tall containers, shelves).
• Test door switch: Manually press the door switch plunger; the interior lights should turn off. If not, the switch may be faulty.
• Inspect switch: Gently pry out the door switch from the liner and check for loose wires or corrosion.

If the switch does not operate the lights or clear the dE code, replace the door switch. If the door is sagging and not contacting the switch, hinge adjustment or repair may be needed.
