Water dispenser has very low flow or trickle.

Safety: Turn off water supply if disconnecting lines; unplug unit before accessing internal valves.

• Replace filter: If the filter is older than 6 months or flow has gradually decreased, replace the Maytag-approved water filter.
• Check shutoff valve: Ensure the household valve is fully open.
• Inspect line: Look for kinks in the plastic or copper supply line behind the refrigerator.

If flow remains poor after these steps, the water inlet valve may be partially blocked internally and should be replaced.
