Refrigerator display shows E0 and cooling performance is unstable or intermittent.

Safety First: Unplug the refrigerator from the wall outlet before removing any panels. Do not work on live circuits.

Steps:

• Power reset: Unplug the unit for 5–10 minutes, then plug back in. Check if E0 clears.
• Inspect main PCB connections: Access the main control board (usually behind a rear metal cover on the back of the refrigerator). Remove the cover and visually inspect all wire harness plugs for loose or partially seated connectors.
• Check for corrosion or burns: Look for darkened, burnt, or swollen components on the PCB and green/white corrosion on connector pins. Reseat each connector firmly.
• Verify stable power: Plug the refrigerator into a known-good outlet (avoid extension cords). If possible, check that the outlet provides 110–120V (or 220–240V in your region).
• Test operation: Restore power and monitor for several hours. If E0 returns or cooling is erratic, the main control board is likely defective and should be replaced.

When to stop: If you smell burning, see arcing, or the PCB is visibly damaged, do not continue using the refrigerator. Replace the main PCB or contact a qualified technician.
