Display shows Lo or L0 and the refrigerator does not cool or runs at minimum settings.

Steps:

• Check for demo mode: Many Midea models have a showroom/demo mode that disables cooling. Consult the user manual for the button combination to exit demo mode (often holding specific buttons for several seconds).
• Reset temperature settings: Set both refrigerator and freezer to recommended default temperatures (e.g., 4°C / 39°F for fridge, -18°C / 0°F for freezer).
• Power cycle: Unplug the unit for 5–10 minutes, then plug back in and observe the display.
• Monitor cooling: Allow 12–24 hours for temperatures to stabilize. If Lo persists and cooling is abnormal, a sensor or control fault may exist and require service.
