Safety First: Turn off the ice maker and unplug the refrigerator before removing the ice maker assembly.

Steps:

• Check ice maker power: Ensure the ice maker arm or switch is in the ON position.
• Inspect for jams: Remove the ice bucket and look for stuck cubes in the mold or ejector arms. Clear any obstructions by hand.
• Check fill tube: Inspect the water fill tube above the ice maker for ice blockage. If frozen, thaw gently with a hair dryer on low.
• Test cycle: Some Midea ice makers have a test button. Press and hold to initiate a harvest cycle. If it does not move, the module may be faulty.
• Replace ice maker: If the motor does not run or the mold heater does not release cubes, replace the complete Midea ice maker assembly.
