Possible Causes

Refrigerator not level, Loose condenser coils or tubing, Items vibrating against the cabinet, Loose internal panels

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety First: No internal electrical work is required for basic vibration correction.

Steps:

  • Level the unit: Use a spirit level and adjust the front leveling legs so the refrigerator is slightly tilted back and stable.
  • Check rear rollers: Ensure rear rollers are fully on the floor and not hanging over edges.
  • Secure loose items: Move bottles and containers inside that may be touching each other or the walls and causing noise.
  • Inspect tubing: At the back, ensure refrigerant lines and condenser coils are not touching each other or the cabinet. Gently bend or pad them to prevent contact.
  • Test: After adjustments, listen during compressor start/stop to confirm noise reduction.
