Refrigerator displays F9; audible alarm may sound; temperatures may drift out of range.

Safety: Always disconnect mains power before accessing the control module.

Steps:

• Reset: Unplug the unit for at least 10 minutes to fully discharge the electronics, then reconnect. If F9 clears and does not return, monitor operation.
• Check ventilation: Ensure the top and rear of the refrigerator have adequate clearance and that control area vents are not blocked by cabinetry.
• Inspect control board: Access the main control (often located at the top or rear). Look for burned components, bulging capacitors, or signs of moisture damage.

Important: Control board replacement often requires transferring configuration settings and should be done by an authorized Miele technician. Do not attempt component‑level repairs unless you are qualified.
