Possible Causes
Faulty door sensor, Misaligned door, Damaged door harness, Faulty alarm circuit on main PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power before adjusting doors or accessing wiring.
Steps:
- Check door alignment: Ensure the door closes fully and seals evenly. Adjust hinges if the door is sagging.
- Inspect gasket: Look for gaps or twists in the door gasket that might prevent proper closure.
- Door sensor test: As with E10, locate the door reed switch or sensor and test its operation with a magnet and multimeter. Replace if faulty.
- Harness inspection: On models with wiring through the door hinge, inspect for broken or pinched wires.
- PCB check: If the sensor and door alignment are correct but E22 persists, the alarm circuit on the main PCB may be defective and require replacement.
