Possible Causes
Failed condenser fan motor, Obstruction by dust or debris, Wiring fault to condenser fan, Faulty fan driver on PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the refrigerator before accessing the rear compartment.
Procedure:
- Access condenser fan: Remove the rear lower panel to expose the condenser coil and fan (if your Neff model has one).
- Clean area: Vacuum dust from the condenser and fan blades. Ensure nothing is obstructing the fan.
- Spin test: With power off, spin the fan by hand. It should rotate freely.
- Electrical test: Restore power briefly and observe if the fan runs when the compressor is on. If not, unplug and test motor resistance and supply voltage.
- Replace fan: If the motor is open or seized, install a new Neff condenser fan motor.
- PCB check: If the fan is good but never receives power, the PCB fan driver may be faulty and require replacement.
