• Inspect start device: Remove the start relay/overload from the compressor and check for burn marks or rattling. Replace if suspect.
• Check wiring: Ensure all compressor wires are firmly connected and not heat-damaged.
• Compressor test (advanced): Measure winding resistances. If windings are open or shorted, the compressor is faulty and needs professional replacement.
• Control board: If the compressor never receives power, the main PCB relay may be defective and require replacement.
