Possible Causes
Faulty fridge compartment NTC sensor, Sensor not properly clipped to wall or air channel, Main control board miscalibration, Temperature set too low
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug before accessing sensors or control boards.
Steps:
- Check settings: Ensure the fridge temperature is set to around +4°C. Avoid the coldest setting unless necessary.
- Sensor placement: Locate the fridge NTC sensor and confirm it is correctly positioned in its holder and not touching the evaporator directly.
- Test sensor: If you have a multimeter, measure sensor resistance and compare to spec. Replace if out of range.
- Control reset: Disconnect power for 10 minutes to reset the control. If overcooling persists with a good sensor, the main PCB may be faulty and require replacement.
