Closed or blocked water supply, Kinked water line, Frozen water tank or line inside fridge, Faulty dispenser switch or valve
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug and close the water supply valve before working on water lines.
Steps:
- Check supply: Confirm the water supply valve is open and pressure is adequate.
- Inspect hose: Look for kinks or damage in the external hose and internal lines.
- Check for freezing: If the fridge is set very cold, the internal water tank or lines may freeze. Raise the temperature slightly and allow time to thaw.
- Dispenser switch: Test the dispenser switch or lever for continuity. Replace if faulty.
- Inlet valve: If the valve does not open when the dispenser is activated, replace the water inlet valve.
