How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Step 1 – Wait for self-test to complete:
- After a power outage or reconnection, 88 88 may appear briefly as the display tests all segments.
- Wait 1–2 minutes to see if the normal display returns.
Step 2 – Reset the control panel:
- Press and hold Power Freeze and Power Cool for 8–10 seconds.
- If the display does not return to normal, unplug the refrigerator for 5 minutes, then plug back in.
Step 3 – Check buttons and panel:
- Ensure no buttons are stuck or jammed.
- Wipe the panel clean and dry.
