Possible Causes

Clogged water filter, Incorrect filter installation, Restricted water line, Faulty water flow sensor (if equipped)

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Step 1 – Check water filter:

  • Locate the Water Filter inside the refrigerator (usually top right or bottom grille).
  • Turn it counterclockwise to remove and inspect for damage.
  • Install a genuine Samsung replacement filter, ensuring it locks fully into place.

Step 2 – Purge air from the system:

  • Dispense water for 2–3 minutes to remove air and flush the new filter.

Step 3 – Inspect water line:

  • Check the external water supply line for kinks or restrictions.
  • Ensure the shutoff valve is fully open.

Step 4 – Reset filter indicator (if applicable):

  • Press and hold the Alarm/Filter Reset button for 3 seconds to reset the filter indicator.

Note: If the error persists despite good water flow and a new filter, the Water Flow Sensor or Main PCB may be faulty and require professional service.
