How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Step 1 – Check for control lock:
- Look for a lock icon on the display.
- Press and hold the Lock or Alarm button for 3–5 seconds to toggle the lock.
Step 2 – Power cycle:
- Unplug the refrigerator for 5 minutes, then plug back in.
Step 3 – Inspect control panel connections (advanced):
- Unplug the unit.
- Remove the control panel cover and check that the ribbon cable and harnesses to the Display PCB are fully seated.
Step 4 – Replace display PCB if faulty:
- If the panel remains dead despite good power and connections, replace the Display PCB.
