Steps:

Clean condenser coils: Pull the unit away from the wall. Use a coil brush and vacuum to remove dust from coils under or behind the fridge.
Check condenser fan: With power on briefly, verify the fan near the compressor runs when the compressor runs. If not, unplug and test/replace the fan motor.
Check door seals: Inspect gaskets for gaps or tears that allow warm air in, causing long run times.
Monitor performance: After cleaning and fan checks, allow 24 hours. If cooling remains weak and the compressor runs almost nonstop, a sealed system issue (leak or weak compressor) is likely.

Sealed system repairs require specialized tools and should be performed by a licensed refrigeration technician.
